LBG’s Marco Daoura, Principal Consultant, participated in M2D2 IMPACT Cycle 4, advising a minimally invasive vessel occluding surgical device.

IMPACT is a 12-week accelerator program that uses a unique one-on-one approach that connects startups with resources for commercialization, including engagement with M2D2’s corporate sponsors.

The program offered an opportunity for Mr. Daoura to mentor a startup and help them plan their product development and business development activities.

“I will continue to participate with M2D2 in Cycle 5, which is planned January through April 2023,” says Mr. Daoura. “The focus is on pioneering orthopedics, and the program will support leading orthopedics and musculoskeletal innovators work on procedures that improve patient outcomes and reduce overall costs. I look forward to helping the next company on their journey from ideation through commercialization!”

Massachusetts Medical Device Development Center (M2D2) is a part of the Accelerator Network that connects BARDA to 13 accelerators across the U.S. to support early-stage companies and help them overcome obstacles.
