The future of ultrasound technology in emergency medicine

LBG’s Marco Daoura, Principal Consultant, will discuss the future of ultrasound technology in emergency medicine at ACEP22 in San Francisco this weekend!

Topics of discussion include Imaging Interoperability—the full digital transformation journey that includes secure Cloud PACS, ACEP Guidelines formatted reports, remote diagnosis, EMR reporting, facilitated billing, and analytics to optimize the provider workflow and reduce burnout.

Mr. Daoura has extensive experience in this area and will join the Ultrasound Industry Roundtable to engage with global industry vendors for the purpose of improving emergency medicine solutions (hardware, software, services).

“This collaborative industry approach and ongoing communication have led to significant improvements in ultrasound equipment and workflow and has helped prioritize research and development efforts,” says Mr. Daoura. “These discussions will stimulate innovative ideas that address our community’s main points with performing, reviewing, interpreting, reporting, billing, and securely archiving and sharing ultrasound studies for remote workflows.”

The American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) was founded in 1968 by a small group of physicians who shared a commitment to improving the quality of emergency care. Today, ACEP represents more than 38,000 emergency physicians, emergency medicine residents, and medical students.
