Keith DeDonder, DVM, Ph.D., DACVCP, Senior Consultant, Discovery, Nonclinical, and Animal Health Consulting, is attending the 11th International Conference on Antimicrobial Agents in Veterinary Medicine (AAVM) in Madrid on September 11 – 14. 

“I am looking forward to networking with international colleagues in the Animal Health space, and I am excited to see the latest research on new and alternative antimicrobial molecules and early detection of diseases and measures to mitigate the further spread of antimicrobial resistance,” says Dr. DeDonder, who is a diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Clinical Pharmacology (ACVCP). 

Dr. DeDonder has more than 10 years of experience as a senior professional in veterinary and nonclinical pharmaceutical development and clinical veterinary medicine. He possesses advanced subject matter expertise in the areas of food and companion animal medicine, antimicrobial resistance, and clinical pharmacology.  

Approximately 100 – 150 delegates attend the AAVM, an international gathering of industry, regulatory, and academic researchers and stakeholders dedicated to the research of new and alternative antimicrobial molecules, early detection of diseases, biosafety, and control measures. The conference is confirmed as one of the leading meetings in its field.
